OLIVIER VANDE VYVER

Olivier Vande Vyver is a civil engineer and holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences from the Polytechnic Faculty of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He was a PhD researcher at the Laboratory of Materials Sciences of the ULB from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2015, he held the position of scientific advisor Materials within KTO at the University of Mons (UMONS). He was in charge of managing IP and support in setting up research projects. Since November 1, 2015, he has been director of the LIEU Network. LIEU is the direct responsibility of the Conseil des Recteurs des Universités Francophones de Belgique (Cref), a council of Rectors from French-speaking Belgium. With over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry both in Malaysia and in Benelux, Anuar has extensive event management and hospitality industry experience. Great success for the 1st UTILE Business and Innovation Workshop

 UTILE project gathered in Sofia promising health and life science projects funded under FP7 and Horizon 2020 to valorise their research results. BRUSSELS, June 22, 2018 – UTILE Project, funded by the European Commission under the H2020 Funding Programme, organised its 1st Business and Innovation Workshop in Sofia, 15 June. The workshop gathered 9 promising health and life science projects funded under FP7 and Horizon 2020 and 4 start-ups to offer them valorisation support for their research results. The workshop focused on IP and IP management, access to finance and licensing and commercialisation of innovative products.
