ASTP-Proton will issue later this summer its first report with the result of the last survey, that collected data for 2014. The survey closed earlier this year and resulted in a great success in terms of respondents. In its previous edition, ASTP-Proton collected 204 respondents. This year, it reached 373, with a participation from 19 member states. This terrific result was possible thanks to the involvement of our technology transfer community in Europe and to the National Associations that reached their members and ensured capillary participation. The next edition will also include data from France and ASTP-Proton will collect data from fall.
The 373 TTOs that responded to the Survey represent more than 400 public research institution. Each TTO serves on average 1245 FTE in R&D and employs 8,3 FTE. Detailed results on patents generated, licensing deals and spin-off will be available in the report, that will be made available by ASTP-Proton soon.
